You've probably seen those types of email. It looks just like a legitimate email from the bank or other similar companies. But it's not. It's actually a ploy to get your username and password so the scammer will have access to your account. 

The bad news is that the bad guys are getting smarter. They can easily copy the look and feel of the real company email. The good news is that email providers such as Gmail are keeping up with them. Linked here are some of the tips that can help you avoid becoming a victim of phishing.
